Does unused traffic carry over when I purchase another package?

Traffic allowance

When you purchase another package of the same proxy type, its traffic allowance is added to your existing unused allowance. Your remaining traffic is neither reset nor kept in a separate balance.

Traffic packages for different proxy types - Rotating Residential Proxies, Rotating Datacenter Proxies, and Mobile Proxies - are managed independently. Traffic allowances and validity periods do not carry over between proxy types, and purchasing a package for one type does not change the expiration date of another type.

Expiration date

For packages of the same proxy type, the applicable expiration date is the latest expiration date among the packages on your account. When you purchase a new package, the system uses whichever date is later: the existing expiration date or the new package's expiration date. The remaining validity period is not added to the new package term.

Example

Your existing package has 15 days remaining, and you purchase a new package with a 30-day validity period:

• Traffic allowance: the unused allowance from the existing package is added to the allowance from the new package.
• Expiration date: the combined allowance expires 30 days after the new purchase, not 45 days later.
